Tertiary Level Business English Teacher (m | f | d)

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Tertiary Level Business English Teacher to join our Communication faculty. If you are passionate about teaching, possess a strong academic background and thrive in a multicultural environment, we invite you to apply for this position which will become available, as a freelance position, in August 2024.

Your area of responsibilities

 Design and deliver engaging, effective, student-centred English courses at tertiary level, using a range of methodologies and ensuring alignment with accadis Hochschule's curriculum and academic standards.
 Foster a positive and interactive learning environment that promotes student participation, critical thinking and effective communication skills.
 Develop fair and comprehensive assessments to evaluate student performance, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
 Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the English curriculum, staying abreast of industry trends, pedagogical advancements and incorporating relevant technology in particular through Google G-Suite for Education.
 Offer academic support to students by assisting with language-related challenges.
 Stay current with developments in English language teaching and actively engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching methodologies and strategies.

The ideal candidate

 Degree level education and relevant qualifications for teaching English as a Foreign Language and/or Applied Linguistics.
 Previous experience teaching English at tertiary level.
 Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic community.
 Demonstrated commitment to student success and innovative teaching practices.
 Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
