Business English Teacher (m | f | d)

accadis Hochschule seeks to fill a freelance position as Business English Teacher (m | f | d) starting immediately. Native-level proficiency in English is highly desirable, as the successful candidate will teach higher education students across our international Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in management, marketing, and finance. Applicants should have several years of teaching experience and ideally possess an international profile. Teaching will be conducted on-site at the accadis campus and will cover the areas outlined below.

Your area of responsibilities:

- Design and deliver engaging, effective, student-centred English courses, using a range of methodologies and ensuring alignment with accadis Hochschule's curriculum and academic standards.
- Foster a positive and interactive learning environment that promotes student participation, critical thinking and effective communication skills.
- Develop fair and comprehensive assessments to evaluate student performance, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the English curriculum, staying abreast of industry trends, pedagogical advancements and incorporating relevant technology in particular through Google G-Suite for Education.
- Offer academic support to students by assisting with language-related challenges.
- Stay current with developments in English language teaching and actively engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching methodologies and strategies.

The ideal candidate:

- A background in Management, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by relevant qualifications for teaching English as a Foreign Language and/or Applied Linguistics.
- Previous experience teaching Business English in a higher education setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic community.
- Demonstrated commitment to student success and innovative teaching practices.
- Native or near-native English proficiency (written and spoken).
